Match Report | East started slowely in the first half, struggling to deal with the numbers and mobility in Yeovil's midfield. A slight change in shape, and the introduction of Lyle Muir proved to be the spark for East Devon to take control. A strong run down the right wing from Muir eventually fed Tom Stoneman who dispatched the opener. Jake Rogan doubled the lead before half time. The second half started much quicker, with Ed Farrant grabbing a brace and Simon Thompson popping up with a rare goal as Yeovil seemed to buckle under the constant pressure. Matt Day finished off the scoring with a tap in at far post after a mix up in defence. |
