Match Report | East Devon managed to bounce back from a dissapointing result from the previous week with a very good 2-0 home win against a strong Torbay side. East Devon started very brightly creating a number of oppurtunities in the first half with some quick passing and great movement, on and off the ball. This lead to East Devon going into half time 1-0 up from a Sam Corney shot that went through the goalkeepers legs. East Devon then picked up from where they left off during the 1st half with the continued quick passing and high pressing which meant Torbay struggld to get out of their half. This continued pressure was then rewarded with a 2nd goal scored by Jake Griffiths set up by striker Ash Wonnacott. Overall a very impressive performance from a very young East Devon 1st team. |
