The 4 th team got back on track after a great win over Teign this week. Although perhaps unexpected, with a good side, the win was deserved despite considerable efforts by the opposition. Russell Corney was this weeks man of the match due to an incredible amount of effort he put in as he pressurised the opposition well and did a huge amount of running, at the top of the pitch, which provided gaps in the opposition's defence which was exploited well, particularly by Jake Ward and Guy James. The combination of these two players in the centre of the pitch was a great help to the team and contributed massively to the win. Hopefully the intensity from this match can continue through the last couple of games of the season and place the team in a good final league position. |
