Match Report |
The 4th team suffered a rather disappointing result this week as they saw a 2-3 loss to O.P.M.B. After a recent winning streak against some of the top clubs in the league this match was a potential win. However on this occasion there was a lack of clever and simple passing seen in previous games and the team didn't manage to pull together as well as it would have liked. Despite this there were good individual performances such as Simon Thompson and Lyle Muir putting in numerous tackles, Marcus Sculpher playing the ball well up the right wing and James Gale who got man of the match for East Devon, due to his excellent distribution of the ball in the middle of the pitch, not to mention a cracking strike from Ashley Wonnacott which found the bottom corner of the oppositions goal. All we can do now is work on improvements in preparation for our next game against Teign and hope for a better result.
